Job Description

  • We are currently seeking a passionate Digital Workplace Technology Engineer to create a world class digital workplace experience for our company and our clients.
  • Reporting to the Technical Architecture & Engineering Director, you’ll be responsible for designing and building a highly available workspace that lets employees communicate and collaborate reliably and smoothly regardless of where or what time zones they’re in.
  • You will be engineering solutions such as modern management, mobile device management, Networks, servers, virtualized platforms, meeting room technologies, and more.
  • You have a track record of building and expanding offices.
  • Working closely with our senior infrastructure Architect and engineers, partners, and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and workspace capabilities to enable a simple, sleek, cohesive employee experience.

    • Qualifications:

      BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related years of experience:

      • 5+ years experience in the implementation, management, and maintenance of information technology infrastructure and IT systems.
      • Experience in infrastructure operations management, including the development and implementation of telecommunication systems, deep knowledge of networks, and support services.
      • ServiceNow Experience a plus.
      • Experience with implementing and managing in-room technologies and virtualized platforms.
      • Experience & Expertise with Microsoft Modern Workplace (M365).
      • Experience with endpoint tools such as JAMF, Jump Cloud, Crashplan, and MDM.
      • Working knowledge with monitoring tools such as Thousand Eyes.
      • Demonstrated experience in working with globally distributed resources.
      • Understanding network & endpoint security principles (Firewall, Load Balancing, Proxies, Routing).
      • Solid understanding of DevOps/automation and best practices.
      • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, with little supervision.
      • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management.
      • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
      • Strong procedural documentation skills.
      • Proficiency with solving networking and firewall problems that flow through load balancers such, as firewalls, and networking equipment.
      • Background in creating and deploying automation scripts preferred.
      • Organization skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment.
      • ITIL v3/4 foundation, service design, and service delivery management experience a plus.
      • Relevant industry professional certifications such as Microsoft MCSA s, Amazon, JAMF, and Google a plus.
      • Digital Workplace Engineer is the Microsoft O365 and Security Endpoint Engineer.

      Responsibilities

        • Designing, building, deploying, and maintaining modern workplace technologies in a rapidly growing enterprise environment.
        • Drive strategic Digital Workplace initiatives such as Modern device management, In-room conference technology, virtualized desktop and servers Implement endpoint lifecycle management tools & processes.
        • Partner with vendors and HQ teams to design and manage Networks (all layers), virtualization platforms, telecommunication systems, and storage area networks.
        • Working closely with Facility, HR, and key stakeholders, define and rollout global and regional workspace build standards that exceed employee expectations.
        • Provide technical leadership for workspace expansion initiatives in the Americas region.
        • Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.
        • Maintain knowledge of new technologies and platforms and provide direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated and integrated.
        • Implement monitoring tools and associated processes to maintain high availability of workspace technologies.
        • Create and maintain detailed systems documentation for support, clear and compelling communication artifacts to drive alignment and buy-ins Train and provide knowledge transfer for junior colleagues.
